Building a paver patio is a great way to give your yard a comfortable and modern look. But how much does it cost, and what can increase the price?

Textured Pavers

Textured pavers are pavers that have texture on the surface. There are a variety of options you can choose from. On average, they will increase your cost between $0.80 and $3.00 per sq. ft.

Permeable Pavers

Permeable pavers have spaces between them filled with different aggregate. This design option allows water to filtrate back to the ground. This feature makes them more eco-friendly and great for areas with drainage issues. Generally, they can cost you another $1.25 per sq. ft.

Design Options

Design options and intricate patterns can increase the number of pavers needed and installation time, both of which can increase your overall price $1-$3 per sq. ft.

Large Pavers and Tumblers

Large Pavers are increasingly popular but can cost you up to $2 per sq ft. Tumbler pavers give a more traditional look to your pavers, but require additional production work which can run you an additional $1.25 per sq. ft.

There are plenty of options to choose, but you have to make sure they’re within your budget. Meet with a hardscaping company to get the best estimate for your project.
